Hellbent

 

HELLBENT

I found my way through the rain and the

taxidermy

a hand not holding my own

stars did not signify

but levitated above

the ocean’s salty sneer

you look sexually accomplished in that shade

of mildew

I said

a future expired

on your heavenly face
